Thanks for the article about Russel and Mary Wright. i live here in Steubenville and like most rust-belt towns, we have lots of empty storefronts in the downtown area. imagine my surprise when one of the windows showed an amazing display of Russel Wright 'American Modern' -- someone here in town is a mega-collector ( i think they have a friend who used to work at the Pottery) my sister had a set of white Russel Wright Iroquois Casual (lots of divided dishes with sculptural indentations on the sides for easy handling... and the neatest stacking salt/pepper and sugar/creamer - easy to find on ebay) she gave away the dishes a few years ago before i became a Russel Wright fan! Thanks for your wonderful blog -- i read often and enjoy your ideas.

LOVE the floral pattern on the plate! So simple, it's perfect!

I haven't been to SFO in awhile, but it's good to see that they're keeping these exhibits fun and interesting!

A nice warm Cinnabon would be even tastier if served on one of those lovely plates! You can never have too much Cinnabon, especially in an airport.

Wow, I'm so impressed with the airport for doing that. I guess it makes sense. You have a captive audience.

Great post, Danny.

I saw Easter Living too, but I've been looking at Easter posts all morning, so that's my excuse :) Oh and I don't have my glasses on yet.

If you get the opportunity, try to get to Manitoga in Garrison, NY (about 1 hr. north of NYC). This was Russel and Mary Wright's home and it is open to the public. There are beautiful hiking trails on the property as well as their amazing house.
