WIN! Pure by Chantal Ring Batter Bowl

I really do love being a magazine editor because I get to see sneak peeks on all the fun, new eco-friendly items coming to market before anyone else. And one perk of being a Daily Danny reader is that sometimes companies who tell me about their products let me giveaway items right here on this blog to one lucky winner.
This week, I got an email from the Chantal Corporation about their new line called PURE. Here’s what they have to say about their beautiful line:
Crafted using only the finest clay on earth, our Pure collection proves simplicity is beautiful, naturally. We created an eco-friendly firing and glazing process free of coloring agents that reduces the environmental impact by up to 50 %. This innovative method yields extremely durable, non-porous bakeware that’s the healthiest choice for baking, serving and storing. And that makes “going green” in your kitchen the simple, natural choice. Pure by Chantal. Created for a Green World.
I really love the Pure teapot, mugs and cups a lot…but I also the fact that the toxin-free glaze is also naturally stick-resistant. The bakeware is pretty revolutionary and functional, too. The Make & Take line has matching ceramic lids for easy transport PLUS you can actually write right on the ceramic with a permanent marker (like “Apple Cobbler”) and it’ll easily wash off. Pretty cool.
So, to one lucky Daily Danny winner, I’m giving away the Pure by Chantal Ring Batter Bowl.
Just leave a comment saying what you’d bake up with this and I’ll pick a winner one week from now!
GOOD LUCK!
CONTEST IS NOW CLOSED. Congrats to PATTI for winning; she was the first commenter and I decided—just once—to award the very first commenter. Have fun making your (organic!) brownies!

I would be using it to make whole-wheat pancakes, berry bismarks, corn crepes and many other breakfast meals. My son is two years old and I try to give him nourshing, homemade breakfasts everyday. Plus there is nothing quite like waking up to the smell of breakfast cooking in the morning! I’d also use it to make our favorite lemon rosemary tea cookies.
Big thank-you to Chantal for producing such a wonderful product we can feel good about using and looks lovely too!
This would be perfect for Sunday morning pancakes!
I love that batter bowl! I’d likely inaugurate it with brown butter cherry bars or some delicious waffles. MMM.
double chocolate brownies of course!!!!
This would be perfect for making oreos a la Smitten Kitchen! And when I was done with the dough, I could use it to whip the creme!
I would give this beautiful bowl to my grandchildren to help their Mama & Papa with all the things that need mixing!
Oh what a beautiful pitcher- and I love that you can write on it.
Cheers!
Love the simple lines of this batter bowl…has a vintage appeal. Don’t mix stuff up for breakfast like I used to, but I can see a great batch of blueberry pancakes with my granddaughter doing the mixing…put my name in for your giveaway….Thanks! *elaine*
Blueberry Buckle because it’s blueberry season! Yum…
Looks like the contents would pour smoothly and not run amok. Just curious…where is Chantal made?
Ooh, definitely a strawberry clafoutis…{off to use my uninteresting batter bowl now}. Thanks!
My husband loves making pancakes and waffles on the weekends, this would definitely get use from that!
When I make a chicken pie, I mix the filling up in my scratched and discolored Tupperware batter/pitcher, I would love to make it using the beautiful PURE batter bowl.
I would use this for Sunday morning pancakes… topped with fresh strawberries from the garden!!
definitely pancakes – I like to use food coloring in the batter for special occasions and drip the batter into fun shapes and designs…this pour spout would make it so much easier!
I just whipped up a peach/blueberry crisp last night with my market finds. I was so excited about how it turned out, that I’ve been brainstorming new fruit combos. This bowl would be a rocking addition to the kitchen in the new apartment I’m moving into (on Tuesday!!!) and help with my future fruit crisp creations.
I love that it’s esthetically pleasing, safe for my family, and purposeful. Very pure indeed.
I’d mix up a batch of organic mini-carrot ginger muffins – the perfect finger food for a summer picnic brunch.
Lovely bowl! I’d whip up some chocolate molten cakes. Mouth = watering.
Pancakes.
For dinner!
I would mix up a batch of traditional Rice Krispie treats.
Pancakes from my ever-trusted Nigella recipe.
It’s beautiful!
I would make blueberry muffins first!
apple strudel!
scones made with fresh blackberries picked from my cabin and farm fresh eggs from a friend…she pets her chickens to keep them happy so I call them “happy eggs”
lemon bars. i love to serve them with a scoop of locally made lemon sorbet from the purple cow in easton. yum!
OH! I would make just about everything in this bowl. I have an old ugly, scratched glass bowl that is in this shape! I would mix bread, put it in this new beautiful batter bowl to raise, then jump in the car and visit a friend! We could bake it at her house! Sharing my good fortune of winning the bowl is the way to go!
Pick me Please!
waffles, quick breads, pie crusts, etc….!
