Wednesday Eco Giveaway

I’m in New York City today working fast and furious on a very fun, very eco and very economical Rachael Ray Show special for the holidays.   So as my team and I craft away, I thought today would be a good day to celebrate the holiday spirit and do a fun eco giveaway.

I’m giving away a set of 100 LED crystal miniature lights from GE (available at Lowe’s stores) so you can deck the halls with eco style.   I love LED lights because they are super energy efficient, last almost forever and cast a perfect & safe glow wherever you put them.

I’m also going to throw in two Method cleaning products in their limited edition holiday scents: a handwash in a pine scented “Fir” flavor and a dish soap in a minty candy cane flavor.     Yes, candy cane dish soap.   I actually want to wash dishes now.

To enter, just leave a funny comment… I’ll use a random number generator to pick a winner.

Good luck!

Oh goodness, candy cane dish soap means even more difficulty resisting the temptation to eat bubbles for the kids. XD

  2. Patti says:

Would love one more set of LED Christmas lights so our house can look like the Griswalds (we switched to all LED Christmas lights last year)!

Especially would love some yummy candy cane dish soap, especially since I’m known as Peppermint Patti!

Have you not seen the cartoon floating around Facebook where the turkey is yelling at santa that November is his month and he better not leave the North Pole until after Thanksgiving? I saw a christmas tree fully decorated and lit in a house I walked by last week. Now that’s too early!

  11. carrie says:

We could use a string of LED lights @ our house. Are they squirrel-proof as well as eco friendly? The squirrels chewed our last string of lights. These might be indoor-only use in our neighborhood.

I saw the holiday Method soap when I was at Target the other day. It was your typical, quick, $10 Target run — when you get to the check out your cart is full and your bill went up by $75.

  20. I love how you call it flavored too :) I get so much crap over that. I don’t care though, it’s flavored, dangit!

I am assuming that the soap is for cleaning off all the sap from the trees after stringing them with the lights? How thoughtful!

I would like to wrap the LED lights around the fir sented handwash bottle and put it near my turtles’ aquarium so they can have a Christmas tree to call their own. I don’t think they’d have any use for candy cane dish soap however so I suppose I’d keep that for myself.

  31. Jen G says:

LED Lights?! I could totally use more for my tiny Christmas tree – sometimes there’s nothing better than sitting by the lit tree. So peaceful :)

  32. Julie Henderson says:

Well, first off, I’m fond of your first name, ’cause it’s my hubby’s! I’ve not gotten onboard w/ the LED lights as of yet, & would SO LOVE to try some! The soap looks so fun & a pleasure to use.
Wishing you peaceful holidays, & thanks so much in advance for the giveaways!! :-) Blessings – Julie H.

  33. Tiffany says:

Wow, if I had these LED christmas lights, I’d definitely be the point of attention, and the envy of my extremely decoration-centered siblings.

  34. Melissa says:
