WIN! Pure Water 2 Go Bottles

eco_bottles

There’s a company down in Texas I’ve been fascinated by and promoting called PureWater2Go.   I’m not a spokesperson or have any stake in the company…I simply like the products they sell.   They manufacture and sell reusable water bottles that have built-in filters to purify regular tap water.  In other words, you fill up the bottle with cold, regular tap water, screw on the cap, and squeeze fresh-tasting filtered water.     It’s brilliant.   And hence the name…Pure Water 2 Go.

The reusable bottle I’ve been using is good for a couple hundred refills, meaning I’m saving literally hundreds of plastic disposable water bottles from being used AND saving hundreds of dollars (300 refills X $2 a bottle equals $600 in savings).    If you want to go green but want fresh tasting water, too…this is a product I highly recommend.

Anyway, the President of Pure Water 2 Go emailed me to show me a new product they are launching called their Eco Bottle.   It’s colorful, it’s reusable, it has a  built-in filter…but it’s also biodegradable.    They say the bottle will even biodegrade in a standard landfill in just 1-5 years.  So you can save hundreds of plastic water bottles and safely dispose of this when you’re done and leave no waste stream behind.  Not bad.   It’ll retail for $17.95 at www.purewater2go.com.

But, I’ll be giving THREE Daily Danny readers one of these bottles.  Just a leave a nice comment for your chance to win!

Good luck!

CONTEST IS NOW CLOSED. Congrats to Joanne Greene, Felicitas and Lisa for winning.  The winners have been emailed, so please reply with your mailing address.  Congrats again!

Oh, I’d love to win one!

I’ve been looking all over for a great “to go” water bottle that is also easy to drink from…so many “green” options have a screw top lid that isn’t very handy for a quick drink!

  2. Jennifer says:

Seems like a great product. I’ve been pouring filtered water into my reusable bottle but sometimes there’s no water left in the filter when I want to refill! Courtesy of my roommates.

  3. Heather says:

    Those bottles are super cute!

  4. Hi Danny! i really hope to win!! :) it would be great to have when traveling back & forth from NJ to NYC.

  5. Jess says:

i LOVE this idea – brita filters can get expensive and take up lots of room in the fridge – this would be a great alternative!

  6. Ruth says:

What a great idea! These are also great looking bottles, almost a fashion accessory. Who wouldn’t want one of these?

  7. Sarah says:

I love it! Thanks Danny ~

  8. lisa says:

Hi!! I’ve been wishing someone would come up with an affordable version of a filtering waterbottle. This sounds Great!!
    Thanks

  9. Christine says:

I would love one of these so I can give it to one of my bottled water addicted family members, I have been trying to get them off of bottled water and this might just do the trick.

  10. Joanne Greene says:

That looks like a great water bottle, especially with the filter built right in.
I’ve been using filtered water from my fridge in a metal bottle, but it sort of boils in the SoCal heat. Like drinking clear tea, not fun.

  11. Linda J. says:

What a great idea! These would be perfect to keep at work. The colors are great, too. Assign each family member a color and mix ups will be kept to a minimum.

  12. Lori says:

My husband has been the holdout on bottled water. He thinks he is being green when he uses a bottle more than once (they aren’t designed for that!). One of these might be the key…

  13. Jeanette says:

This will be a great water bottle to take with me when I am traveling. Carry it empty through security check and fill it up with tap water before getting on the plane. Also help to save on buying expensive bottled water from the mini bar if you are like me – worried about drinking water from the tap in some cities. What a great product!

  14. Chris P says:

This sounds like a wonderful thing to try! No more need to grab bottled water. Love the colors!

  15. Amy says:

This would be great when I am out and I’m not sure of the tap water!

  16. Tommy says:

    Great concept, design, and style!

  17. JP says:

I need to drink more water and this would help!

  18. Juliet says:

My husband does construction outdoors and currently refills the same single-use plastic bottles until they fall apart. I told him that this causes BPH to be released from the bottle but does he listen to his all-knowing wife? This would be nice alternative.

  19. Cecilia says:

What a great idea! I am trying to drink more water and these would sure come in handy.

  20. Michelle says:

This is my first time to this blog, and to start with something as sweet as this is just… wonderful! I’ll be back… :D

  24. Hussain says:

just a question Danny, wouldn’t it be better if these were stainless steel bottles? they are obvously more durable and I’m guessing healthier thab plastic too, althought i wouldn’t mind trying one out to see how the filter works ;)

  25. Kate D says:

I’ve been looking and looking for a great water bottle to buy!! I love purified water and hate buying all those plastic ones.

I would love love love to win one Danny!!!

This is perfect! I am constantly on the go (working several jobs) and it’s not always convenient for me to be near a water fountain to refill my plastic bottle…and the colors are great too!!

    Thanks Danny :)

  28. Keegan says:

This would be incredibly useful for my outdoor job. We’re often refilling our water bottles, and I’d love it to not taste like sheer grodiness.

  29. Liz C. says:

I would love to win one of these for my mom! She doesn’t like the taste of the water at her work so she lugs about 3 water bottles in to work with her. She has been looking for something like this as we live in Connecticut and there is talk of a water bottle tax/deposit. Thanks for the company’s website… if I don’t win I will pass it along to my mom!

  30. Christine says:

I’d love it! Texas water tastes like moss, so this would be great :) Is the bottle non-toxic?

  31. Christie says:

We camp a lot throughout the summer. These would be excellent for my girls!

  32. Jenny says:
