Paint Stick Garden Markers
A few weeks ago, I was in Los Angeles working on my new television projects and to do a little bit of scouting of some homes for the different magazines that I work with. One home that I’ve been meaning to visit for some time belongs to fellow greenie Priscilla Woolworth. If her name sounds familiar, it’s because she’s part of the family lineage to the Woolworth five and dime retail empire. But Priscilla is making eco-waves of her own with her e-commerce website I love: www.priscillawoolworth.com. Definitely work checking out.
On a tour of her home, I noticed these simple and lovely garden markers in her organic herb and vegetable garden. And I loved the fact she came up with such a resourceful and easy idea to make them: use wooden paint stirrers.
I even love how she spelled “Swiss” in the en francais way here.
Anyway, this is fun and easy way to take something we all get for free or have stashed away in the house and turn it into something beautiful and functional now that Spring is just about here.
