Hoarding

Happy Friday!

I need an intervention.    This is my guest bathroom medicine cabinet.    All little bottles and samples of shampoo, body wash, lotions, hair tonics, soaps and more….

Gotta remind myself: Just because they are free, doesn’t mean you need to take ‘em.

Well, unless they are pricey Argan oil infused products or from the bathrooms of the Gramercy Park Hotel…. right?

Oy.   Gotta stop.

Have a great weekend!

My parents travel quite a bit. They donate their stash of small products to the local Hospitality House, which provides a place to stay for families who have someone in the hospital. They are much appreciated!

  2. I’m sure you know this already but…. you’re not alone. :)

You could also always donate them to Clean the World, the world’s largest recycler of hotel soaps/amenities. They reduce waste created by discarded soap and shampoo products and prevent the millions of deaths caused by hygiene-related illnesses every year.

  4. Danny, if you want to unload them, your local homeless shelter will be more than happy to take them. They are always looking for small travel size lotions and potions. At my last company they encouraged us to bring them back and then they collected them and took them to the local shelter. Just sayin’.
